The Black Door.
We went through every cabinet, every computer, every inch of the Institute and gathered all the information we could get our hands on. Weirder still, we combed the entire place, yet we didn't find any new "experiments" inside the lab. I assumed since we let all the others we found free, the White Coats didn't have enough time to create new ones. Boy, was I wrong.
We found a hidden entrance to a stairway, leading to a black doorway that had no doorknob, no handle...nothing.
Each of us, one by one, pressed our ears up to the door. I cannot begin to describe the horrible sounds I heard. Scratching, whimpering, screaming from something...NOT HUMAN! These new experiments were engineered quickly and in large numbers...and they knew we were right outside the door.
Something told me to grab the rest of the flock and run, FAST.

Could they have been creating new Erasers? Thats the only explanation I can come up with.

i find it interesting how humans try to mimic wereanimals through genetic science, but the results are far less than the real deal. erasers ane a poor attempt at lycanthropy. i think your decision was wise. and continue being cautious. better parinoid than dead.

unless they were erasers like version 999.5 (the only thing thats mite actually have a CHANCE at beeting you) i'd say yopu shoulda checked it out
you should have checked it out, nothing would have a chance against the whole flock except mabe eraser version 9999.999 and some whitecoats with MACHINE GUNS.

Why didn't you just ask Angel to comunicate telepathically with whatever's behind there? Chances are, they might calm down, becoming less of a threat. I think its important that you rescue as many people as possible, but hey, he (or she) who takes risks like that are making a deal with the devil.
