What I Wouldn't Give.

You know how everybody has that song?

A song that no matter what you're doing or where you are, hearing it can trigger a memory and bring you back to a moment in your life as if time had never elapsed at all?

Now forget all that.

Close your eyes and image a song that didn't just speak to a slice of your life, but who you were completely. Melodies and lyrics you could identify with note for note, word for word, line for line. Your life incapsulated in a song.

That's what Holly Brook's "What I Wouldn't Give" is to me.

Feeling like I can't forgive
But I want to
It's like I don't know how to live
I'm afraid to

What I wouldn't give just to forget
What I wouldn't give to get some rest
So I can remember how to live again
I want to live again

Am I desperately losing this fight?
When I should really be choosing my flight?
