Hi. I have always wanted to write a blog but I just don't know where to start. How do you think of things to write about? Is it like a journal where I can write whatever I want, but just lots of people can read it?

Good question, Tim. Here's a list-o-ideas.
1. Write about everyday stuff.
For me, that happens to be kicking Eraser butt and challenging societal norms, but I'm sure what happens in DC is just as interestingly awesome, so write about that. Stuff that happens in school, Gameboy, music, pizza...whatever you like is all game.
2. Get your friends to help.
Lots of bloggers operate solo, but I have a little help when I don't feel like talking. (If you know me at all, that happens more often that naught. <--Ha! I told Ig I would use that cliche in a sentence today! I win!!) 3. Snap some pics.
Sometimes words just aren't enough. I like to take pictures (when Nudge isn't, you know, BREAKING MY CAMERA by dropping it mid-air!!) when I can't express something with letters and numbers.
You don't need to be a famous photographer with some crazy-fancy camera, either. Try it.
4. Be random.
Be who you are! If you want to write about how much you, umm...love Swiss cheese, write it. Who cares if someone thinks it's lame? It's your blog, do what you want with it.
(Mmm. Cheese.)
5. Outreach.
When you have an idea, you should let people hear it.
...And that's why Itex is going down.
Cause my idea is that millions of kids my age read this blog every day, and they need to know that there's lots of stuff going on in our world that the adults in control can get away with doing, unnoticed. Stuff that's dangerous or bad for the environment. Stuff that they shouldn't be able to get away with. Like, making human/avian hybrid kids and keeping them in cages.
We may be "just kids," but that doesn't mean we're stupid.

The 3rd book was sooooooo awesome, but how come it came out in some places earlier than others?? Cuz I got it on May 18th at the D.C. airport, and was done with it before it even came out where I live. I loved it! It was awesomeee!!!! I didn't want it to end it was soo good.

I finished the 3rd book a few days ago and i gotta say, it was awesome. Also, as a side note, the saying is "more often than naught", not "more often that naught. Still the third was really good.
im wit you 500%. also, the book was amazing! i wish there was another one. as for the trailer with the girl who won, wat was her name? emily? amy? something like that, but anyway i don't exactly think she was GREAT. i mean, my idea of max was this strong, tough, amazing girl who still has some weak points. not an anorexic girl who looks like shes 30 wit tight jeans and blonde hair was it? no! it should be dark brown. and i imagined her with sort of whitish grayish wings. fang of course has dark wings with some dark hair over his eyes. max should be bout 5'8". and fang bout 6' maybe a lil more. anyway, cant wait till the movie comes out! but it better be good, or i'll just shoot the screen, and hunt down the director, and the actors the rest of their sad, miserable life. plus, the personality of max should shine through. max shouldn't be preppy. she should be, well, wise, tough, have some muscles, except not exactly like a sixpack, gross! and well, yeah. oh! and funny. and the actors and actress' should be people who actually read the book. anyway, max is my special hero!:)
P.S. sorry bout my name. it might seem a lil eraserish, but one can change! anyway, its my last name, and it really bugs me how people spell it with a wolfe or wolf. just sickens me. :(

I'm with you! Really, I feel like that sometimes, like I can't do anything about the bad things in this world, (*cough-cough science labs creating mutants and sending them on nearly suicidal missions cough-cough*) but then I think of my heros/heroines (you guys!) and I remember that I CAN do something, just like every other teenager in the world. I can make a difference. In fact, many people are already making a difference today by one simple thing:

im a huge environmentalist. im 13, and im one of the few people around here who does anything i can (like cutting up soda can plastic thingys, picking up litter exc...) to reverse what adults have done to our planet. i have organized a group and outside super markets we are selling canvas bags to prevent pollution with plastics. instead of having my family drive me places, i bike or walk. this is the only planet we've got, and once it's gone, its gone. so fang, this whole blog is a really good idea (despite what max thinks.)together kids will save the planet! KIDS UNITE!

My birthday's coming up in a few days, and my sister said she'd get me the 3rd book, and that's awesome. It's just that...WAITING TO READ IT IS KILLING ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All my friends want me to read it soon so that they don't have to worry about giving away too much of the book. I would have read atleast some of the 1st few chapters, but I'm afraid I'd get carried away and read the whole thing before my sister got it for me.

*sniff* I'm so sad. I finished book 3 in 4 hours including interruptions like dinner (hey, you guys miss it sometimes, why can't I?). That's really sad, considering I finished book 2 in 2 hours...
Anyways, those are some great tips on writing a blog, though I've never felt compelled to make one. Maybe it's 'cuz I like telling people to their face what I'm feeling.
But then again, you guys can't walk up to someone and say, "Guess what? My day's going crappy. Some Erasers/Flyboys attacked us today and I was caught by 'em and taken to some dungeon in this place in Germany." Somehow, I think the adults would put you into an asylum.
I loved book 3!!! *grin* How did it feel to finally kiss Max of your own free will?

You and the rest of the flock had the right idea at the beginning of the 3rd book, ya know, settlin' down and all that. Max was right to. As far as I can see, which is pretty far being a writer myself, Max really doesn't have a choice. Like Jeb said, she's the only one with a soul. Heck, the whole flocks the only DNA Recombats that have souls.
Look at that Omega kid and Ari, they didn't have souls. Well, not the original ones that they had. Heck, did anyone other than ya'll have souls for that fact that ter Bocht created?
Hey Max and gang, if ya'll are ever in SC, look me up. I'm a major fan and I think I spent 99.9% of my time on the Internet getting the 4th book. Now I'm spending 99.9% of my time getting the movie.

The world is in our hands now, it's our job to save it. Yes, normality is overrated. So is abnormality. I believe that grown-ups don't realize that we want to save the world too, they underestimate us. But everyone grows older sooner or later, and eventualyl we'll find ourselves in control. We can stop this, we can fix things that need to be fixed. Down with global warming, no more wars, and trees for avian-americans everywhere!
And maybe, just maybe, we can create a happy medium between the two extremes. Then we can all look back and say:
"Thanks Fang, your blog started all this."

Kids are awesome! Duh. Talk about stating the obvious. lol. I want to start a blog, but my parents probably wouldn't let me. Another good example of adults trying to rule and destroy everything! Ok, probably not the best example, but oh well! And no one would read it. *sigh* The third book was awesome! I didn't want it to end! I read it in an hour and a half! More more more! lol. I love reading, but I live where there is no malls, no good bookstores, and our library is teeny tiny. I am stuck with rereads, so the third book was very refreshing. It sounds like an energy drink or something. Can't wait for the next one!

omg, I just finished the 3rd book and it was FANTASTIC! You and Max are so great together! I loved it, you guys are awesome!
Yes kids are awesome..... AND RANDOM~NESS IS FUN!!! Once during an awkward silence I kinda shouted out that I once burnt (O.O is it burned or burnt?) a rug.... and then started running around screaming that my leg was on fire... Hey, it made sense to me... at the moment.
I'm sorry, but I do not agree with you on the cheese thing.... All cheese except mozarella (sp?) cheese and.... parmesian (sp? why can't I spell?) cheese are the only ones that I can eat without gaggin.... My friend once shoved a peice of this horrible smelling cheese down my throat.... I gagged.
Anyway.... I think there was a point to this instead of me telling you my favorite memories (yes my favorite memories are really different from others theirs are normally when they went to disneyworld, or sea world, or another world. While mine are me gagging on cheese that was stuffed down my throat and me thinking my leg was on fire)

I am so with you Fang! Plus, also the third book was awesome. I read for 6 straight hours and finished it in one sitting. I do however have one question: In the chapter where you tell us what is happening to other branches of Itex one person has an assistant named Sam. Is that Sam like Sam from D.C., the one that Max dated (Yuck). Or, is it just some random coincidence? Answer me please!
P.S. Swiss cheese is good Fang, almost as good as Mustard ;)

Hows it goin? I wanted to tell you that if you are ever in Seattle, WA, you have a place to crash via my home. I have 2 empty rooms that could easily sleep 6 kids and a dog (though i'm sure Total won't take up much room, he probably will sleep close to Angel). My Mom can make chocolate chip cookies for you, also. So just fly on by if you need a place to stay!
