Notice how like, a lot of punk bands always have really long, weird names? If you ever start a punk rock band(because we all know you will) you have to name it something like, 'The Apocalypse Happened Yesterday And All I Can Think About Is The Lack Of French Fries' or 'My Mom Married A Crocodile Man From Jupiter And He Ate My Dog'.
That would be an awesome band.

Judging by your music taste you'd probably like "The Dropkick Murphys" and "The Enemy". They're two bands that sort of have the same sound as those songs but sound a bit different too. You should try 'em out!

Heh. I was actually thinking of naming my band Defiance/Ohio (in honor of bassist Steve's hometown,) , but then we decided on Death to Desire. Our Myspace got hacked, though, so all our 3,500 friends got deleted. Sadness, but trueness.

wow! i havn't been on here in ages. just to comment on that one blog since i couldn't get it to work on that blogs comment thingy. I don't remember seeing anything on the t.v. about bird kids. what channel do you guys watch? i'll keep my eyes open. all i've seen on the news is the dumb war thats going on. also, yeah easter! the only bad thing about it is that besides me having to work at the brunch at Turner Hall. i have to get up at 3 in the morning to get ready for sunrise service. cause i'm in it. Flock come on down to it so it will be worth it. And if you don't come down i'll pretend that you did anyways. It's at the Methodist Church in Monroe. Yeah go Centurions! I get to yell at people! yeah but anyways. idk i'm losing my voice it's not fun. Spring break that's an up. i think. i'm watching my sister. that's a down. i'll think i'm gonna call my dad and see if i can help him set up the hall. idk i can't get that institue thingy to work i got to the last page, but i saw alot of ppl were having problems too. so hope you get that fixed soon. or w/e idk. I love you guys so much. yet i don't have the fourth book yet. and looks like i'm not getting the series for my sweet 16 birthday. because my mom...doesn't think God wants me to read books like that. I guess i described it pretty bad. I'm waiting for the fourth book to come to my library. please please come soon! i'm bored out of my mind! yeah but anywho. It'd be sweet if i got the series for my b-day. but that won't happen all though she said i wouldn't get the Harry Potter series either but i got that. so idk I hope I get it. Oh, I saw a commercial about the fourth book on Lifetime today!
It basically just played that old commercial where the fake Max jumps off of the building with her CG wings.
And then added "JAMES PATTERSON" in big letters, and then showed a preview of the book cover.
And then it tossed out some words like "THRILLING" and "HEART STOPPING".
Which... eh... not really. But the box guy actually sounded cool. I would have stuck a needle in his... box?... and then controlled his mind, and then sell him to eBay or something!

Life is always tough on the edges, but you keep on at it anyways. isn't it weird though, how, even though we know we're going to fail, we never let go, it's like life assigned us that simple task and we don't wallow over it or think about it, but we don't accept it, it's just there.it's like, if life let you go back, and you could stop the witecoats from making you who you are, who you would become, wouold you be able to do it? to just turn back on all the people who need you and all that you need? the way I see it is that everything in life is a chose, a lesson that we need to learn. with your ability to fly, you could chose what you want to do. do you want to work for this or this, are you going to let it way you down, or grab the chance to make some changes in the world? it's as my friend says, if life gives you lemmons, make grape juice and let the world wonder how you did it, and that's exactly what your doing, I think. please, don't give in, we, the people that know, and even the ones that don't, may be in more trouble then we think, remember to watch the flocks back to, they need you (don't let that grt to your head or I'll have to deflate it).

"bitin".[Filipino term. means, "not enough"] it's as if JP got bored and his deadline was coming fast. and you're "relationship" with max is not really cleared up yet. and one last important thing, there wasn't much ACTION. the last books really kept me awake. the fourth book, dare i say it, was a bit boring.... hey, it's my freedom of speech![as max said] but it was awsome. just un-maxish... i di able to finish it in 2-3 hours flat.

i noticed in the new book that total started growing wings....is he adapting, or is something about the avian DNA in the flock changeing him?.....like a virus (no ofence) that overtime can alter others?....your mission to save the world cant be over just by talking to the government....can it?....otherwise anyone could have done it......though having wings does help get people to listen....and on a less serious note... seeing as im turning 18 on easter, not all grown ups are evil mindless polluters you know! ^_^

I just fininshed reading The Final Warning and I'm a little disappointed. I'm a huge fan. I've read all of your books multiple times and check your website and blog daily. But at the end of Final Warning, Fang, you should've kissed Max or Max, you should've kissed Fang. I was looking forward to it after your little fight and it never happened. So, there's gotta be another book. lol.

Fang you have to help me. I am in the worst perdicament that a non-flock member could ever be in. Something like it happened in saving the world and other extreme sports. Remember when max told you she loved you when she was all drugged up on the opperating table? Something like that happened to me. Except i wasn't dugged i was very, very tired and i told this kid that i love him and i do and now he won't talk to me and the worst part is i live eight hundred miles away. I just moved three months ago. This is the fifth town i've lived in which is nothing compared to you guys and some other people, but for me its tough. I don't know what to do. I tried talking to him but i just made it worse. Help?

I LOVED the 4th book. It was AWESOME!! And for all the people say "it was too short" It is not quantity, but quality that counts. I liked it, thought Max's speech was good, not into global warming but TOTALLY into helping the environment. I love you guys! And I'm glad there was no kissing... well, atleast not much. Now here's something for you to chew on: you often talk of what it's like to be a normal human being and wonder about it. Well this is what it's like: at 14, you are stuck indoors from the time you get up, till 3:00 or 4:00 in the afternoon 5 days a week, And that's the lucky people. Others must stay inside, away from the grass, the wind, the sky, until their parents get home from full time jobs, by which time the sun has set and they're not allowed outside anyway. No flying. Daily commute is by car and train and bus. That also means that if you're angry, scared, or in trouble, you can't fly away. You have to ride it out, face it head on. Your senses would be limited. No super acute hearing, smell, sight, touch.No super strength. But one of the worst things (besides inability to fly) would be that adults wouldn't listen to you. Teachers, parents, random people on the street, wouldn't give a flying fart in space what you think, and you'd be powerless. Now, I imagine there are good things about being 100% human, but I'm ranting right now so I can't think of any. If you come up with some tell me so I can get out of this pessimisstic mood.

Well, Fang, the first band was a bit to repetitive for my taste with, "the knowledge in hand" but the second band, Defiance, Ohio; was strange but i loved it with no way to back up why lol.
I usually like a lot of indie like Vienna Teng (by the way she rocks check her out) but punk seems more my style.

What I have noticed is that you never put just instrumental or classical music. No one EVER does. The people who comment talk about main-stream music that we (unfortunately) have already heard of! Have you ever just heard a stringed quartet or a symphony orchestra? It was good, right? I thought you, Fang, of ALL people would appreciate instruments (and not guitars or drums). If you ever have time check out the TSO website or even ELO, (a band from the eighties-ish era). Another good artist no one ever talks about is the King of Pop. Michael Jackson! He was really cool in the seventies and eighties. He was so awesome. But then he kind of got INSANE and went all weird.

I just finished the 4th book, and I have to say that I'm a little disappointed that you guys are sellouts to global warming. I mean, I'm all for it, and I think it was a great idea to include it in your novel, but it seems that the whole book was too centered around it. I know that your probably mad and think that I'm some anti-hippy for saying this, but I just think it came off a little to strong.

Flock, does anyone love video games? If any of you do, when you get the chance, check out the first Halo. It's for the original X-box, which you can get dirt cheap. Like not even 50 dollars. Anyway, that game rocks. No robots, like flyboys or the other ones, but a collection of alien races bent on destroying the world.
