Cool news. We have a Maximum Ride book coming out in Manga. And they totally made me blonde! And umm, pretty cute. Hmmm. Maybe I'll go Marilyn Monroe blonde. Gwen Stefani makes it pretty punk. Anyway, we got these pics from James recently of the booth at Comic-Con in New York. You can see what the cover looks like and stuff. Pretty cool, huh!

Hey, just to let you know, ('cuz I'm OCD like that) Banga, when pronounced as bang-ga or bang-a or pretty much bang-anything does not rhyme with manga. In Japan, an a is pronounced like ahh sort of like pond and man put together. Man-ga. Not mang-ga. (Please excuse my Japanese obsessiveness. I've been studying Japanese for about 3 years and I draw manga in my spare time.)(Albeit crappily)

Nice manga. I'll have to check it out eventually. So, I ahve a request. I love to write stories. I mean LOVE! I'm still in high school, but I want to try to get something published. Yes, Iam legally an adult-that is, I turned 18 a few weeks ago. On amazon.com it says it won't be released 'till Jan. 20, 2009. Why Max??? WHY??? I mean, you tell us about it and make us wait months? It's bad enough I'm waiting for the possible fifth, but this? I need your opinion on something! I'm your age and I have a crush on this guy in my school. He's really goofy funny on the outside, but when you talk to him alone he's sweet and kind and quiet, a lot like Fang. (except he's in a band and sings and plays guitar, but i bet Fang could do that!) Now, he has talked to me say 3 or so times, like intametly, and one time at a school dance, he was totally bugeyed and following me around trying to talk to me... but i found out later that he has a girlfreind who can be really nasty and protective, (if you know what i mean.) And now when ever anyone asks him about me he's just like "who?" So I'm asking, what should i do? Thanks, hope you can get back to me!

ok..so im confused. In the first book in your series,it says max has brown hair. In the 2nd and 3rd book, it says she has blond hair; and again in the 4th book it says max has brown hair. Yeah Manga tends to go to extremes. There's no in between, no light brown or dirty blonde, just Brunette or Blonde. They also tend to over-exagerate female characters, ahem... 'assets'.

When it comes out, I'm going to get it! I'm so much more of a visual person. Like when I'm reading the books, I'm not just reading the words, I'm seeing it take place.
But this time, I'll start reading them the right way. -laughs-
I picked up "Maximum Ride: School's out Forever" and started reading it. I was like "Wow, this is an amazing book! -goes to the back to check to see if there's more and sees that it's the second one- Oops"
I was half-way through it too! So I bought the first one and I'm sooo close to being done! Can't wait to read the rest!
