hey guys i could use some advice. i have tried so many times to get my brother and dad to beleive all the bad things global warming does. i read facts from the final warning. read facts from internet. but they still wont beleive me. i also cant get my brother to read max ride books cuz i know hed get tote. hooked like me. but he wont. i even got him to read just 20 chapters. finally. after using his promise against him. urgghh. he is so stubborn.

max is better than this random guy.Who's obsessed with bugs and pink elephants. you know. IMHO. The first few chapters sounded too much like Max...as a guy...but still Max...ailens? I mean, come ON. I can handle evil scientistsm but.... aliens?!?!?! I'd rather Jimmy Patt put his energy into getting the fifth book out SOONER and making it longer and not as crappy as The Final Warning. Longer. With an actual PLOT. Is that too much to ask?

This book was soo good! Like everyone else I bought the book as soon as I saw it. It was so good I finished it in two days! XD It reminded me so much of you guys. XP It reminded me too of the Leandros Series by Rob Thurman. It's a good series but I wouldn't really let Gazzy or Angel read it.

Not bad, but if you then went on to the Maximum Ride page, the first words were "Kids and adults agree that Maximum Ride is #1". What does that tell you?
As I said, not bad, but not really my type of book. I enjoy action books, but usually they have to have a bit of romance and I really like it if they have, fantasy, imposibilitys or something to make you wonder about what's really going on in this world.
FYI- Maximum Ride is a part of 'impossibilitys' and 'what's really going on'.

I'm reading the Dangerous Days of Daniel X to keep me busy until August 2nd (all of you Twilight fans will know why. . .). It's actually pretty good, but not as good as the first THREE Maximum Ride books. . .

I was Amazon.com just this morning looking for a book to read, then I got an e-mail from this blog, and when I come check it out, this is here! I have to say, it was pretty awesome (if not a bit creepy) the way it worked out! I'm going on a long road trip and needed a book to pass the time, so ya' it was cool. Oh, and I read the first chapter, and I think that this should totally be the next Harry Potter!

yeah i'm almost done with his book. it's really good but i don't like it as much as i like Maximum Ride. It's interesting and all but i think reading about Mutant brid kids it more real than reading about aliens. Seriously. If you're gonna make a book about an alien hunting aliens.. then atleast make it life like.. Love James Patterson but get real. :)

Sorry guys, but I agree with Anonymous. The 4th book was...well... not the greatest of the 4+? That book was sad compared to the other action packed ones. It`s not your guys fault! No offense to Jimmy Pat either, but it was bad. It`s because a million people read these books that you decided to go with Global Warming, right? You thought you could help with the cause, correct? I understand and that`s really smart too, but don`t do it with Maximum Ride, 'kay? It just didn`t seem right, you rushed it and it became around 200 pages instead of the usual 400.

I have yet to read it but it sounds pretty good. It's seems like a spin off of Max Ride though. On JP website they had the first couple chapters and I tell ya, if I didn't know better I would have thought I was reading one of Max's books!

Well, as bizarre and random and gorgeously imaginitive that was, Max is still better. I mean, because she has a full blown personality. The new character on the block is so far a three year old prodigy/inventor/power prolific boy who has a chance to either join the circus or become a great new architect, or an author or whatever. But despite the fact that Max has wings, she and the rest of the flock are fairly human, and sooner or later we can relate to them and their feelings. Daniel, on the other hand, apparently has an IQ of 150 at three. All I think I like about him is the fact that he emphasizes imagination ( where are you going to with yours?) and he can turn into a pink elephant.

Lol I just finished reading thiis tow days ago, then I read The Knife of Never Letting Go (really good book) and now I've finnaly got aroundto reading your book.
You know what i really hate? Is when a bunch of people get on here and start talking and then say that there sounding like nudge. YOU DONT PEOPLE. just thought i would voice my opinion. Even if the guys who check the comments delete what i just wrote. Which would be a terrible shame.

I just bought the Daneil X book yesterday and finished it this morning and it's REALLy GOOD but DEFFINETTLY NOT AS GOOD AS MAXIMUM RIDE!!!

Hey I actually heard about this guy on the radio. It sounds okay, but like most people here I do agree that Maximum Ride is better. Fang and Max I have a question for you. Ok, I'm gonna be totally honest and say that I've never posted on a blog before so I really have no idea what I'm doing.
I don't think it needs saying that the Maximum Ride series is without a doubt the best book series ever written (three cheers for James Patterson! Hip-Hip-Hooray!). Plus it's cool how it promotes helping the environment. I mean, you can't beat that right?
Anyway, I want to help how I can from the ground. So I am writing a series of songs dedicated to Max and the Flock. Now that I think about it, this isn't really "helping".
But I digress...
The first song is called "Give Me Wings" and it should be out (I don't know where) within the end of the month.
I don't know if "Fang" reads the comments but It'd be nice if I could spread the word somehow. Any advice would be appreciated (once again, I have no clue what to do).

I just finished reading that book only a few days ago. Yeah, he is pretty good. But no where near as good as you guys. Out of all the book I have read, and trust me I've read a lot, your story has always been my favorite. The Flock will always be #1 in my eyes. I'm a Flock Star after all! Can't wait to here more news!

Ride but it has stunned me beyond belief! I had to read it for school. I chose it for some odd reason. It might have been calling me toward it. I have to do a report on it for school. So I've read the first and half of the second. It makes me wanna go back for more every time. I can't belive it!

Fang you are totally right. I kinda feel bad for Daniel though because of having to hear his parents die at that age.
I actually read it, and it is too freakin' short. it has NO STORY! well, no real action. it has only about two plot twists to it. in other words, unless they make the sequel better, this series is completely LAME compared to maximum ride. still, it's a cool idea.
I read it, and it's awesome!!!!!!! :D But Maximum Ride is better. :)
