i don't see why ppl are trying to fight global warming when 1) it's a theory, not a fact and 2)we have much bigger things to be fighting right now, like, for example, the barbaric method of killing unborn children because they're 'problems' and 'burdens'!
bottom line, i care more about humans then a few icecaps.
i wonder if this will even get published seeing as i'm being negative and the opposite opinion...

Hi Fang. This week is ITBS testing (which is MAP testing for Catholic schools). I'm extremely tired and I wouldn't be surprised if I fell asleep while I write this. Right now I'm listening to Dark Blue, though that's not really relevant. Well, I need your help, you being a pretty stubborn dude, with my classmates. See, I'm a vegetarian (and have been for an entire year), and they always make fun of me for it. I just don't understand why they make such rude comments like "Abi, 99.5% of the world doesn't give a crap" or "Mmm, Abi, meat. I remember this time we chopped a pigs head off..." or "Abi you are so superficial, stop trying to be different. It's not working". They just don't get it (it's really one person in particular). You know, one family eating just 1 meatless meal a week would have the same affect on Global Warming as switching to a hybrid car. He doesn't understand that Global Warming is REAL, people just don't seem to care.I'm pretty much a tree-hugger in their eyes. They are always making snide comments and never listen to ANYTHING I say, even if it's important. I hate not being listened to. I really need your help. They mock me for other stuff too, and I'm getting really depressed over this, because they don't seem to understand anything. Please, please, please help.

There is a website to help out poverty called freerice.com that my teacher told me about that donates 20 grams of rice to Africa for every math, english, or any other subject problem you get right. Also, have you seen that movie by Al Gor about global warming? its great.

Also Itex is still out there and they and other big companies are causing most of this. But the biggest contributor to glbal warming is............................................................................cows. Yes cows in their burps they have around 10 to 20 percent Methane and with around 300 burps a day times 365 days ina year times 3,000,000 or so cows in the world. Well you get the picture. And also, ova the summer we made pillowz and necklaces to raise money for a "Stop Global Warming" fund. And we raised $250.80! I hope this helps!

k, you ppl are gonna just push this comment aside cuz i'm not environmental, BUT PLEASE, JUST LISTEN TO WHAT I'M TRYING TO SAY!
1) the earth goes in cycles, sometimes it's colder, sometimes hotter (don't you all remember from history the time during the renaissance when it was so warm they grew grapes in GREENLAND? that would've been considered global warming. it's gotten cooler since then)
2) as i said before, global warming is still a THEORY, not a FACT
3) the earth's 'normal' temp. has gone up TWO degrees in the last CENTURY. do you realize how little that is for that long of a time?!
4) it hasn't been that long since the whole 'global cooling scare' was abandoned, so how do we know the environmentalist aren't wrong on this too?
5) the percent of greenhouse gases that are man-made is (i'm pretty sure) less than 20% and the rest is natural. so you want greenhouse gases to reduce, tell nature, not humans.
PLEASE CONSIDER ALL THIS. i'm just trying to warn you; you may be wrong and not know it. i really admire you all trying so hard to fight global warming, but how do you know you're not just fighting nothing?

I totally agreed with the fourth book! give max a break, though, she likes to watch the flock not getting in to trouble. i think shes just cautious. like that time u went out with that girl. ugh. i think she was just cautious of u not getting in to trouble. liek she alwayz is with the udders of da flock :P . I'M NOT ANNONYMOUS!!! GOD!!! i have a browser that spellchecks evrything i do, its annoying, but u liek spellcheck because most of u cant spell, so i spose thats k :D
