Back to School (The Normal Kind)
Picture this - You're at the dinner table with your Flock, er...family. A woman who's taken it upon herself to be the FBI Super-Agent of the World and save young human-avian hybrid kids everywhere by welcoming you into her home and feeding you casseroley-type substances, breaks the news that she's, quote, "Ready to take the next step."
What am I thinking?
Worse-case scenario: Adoption.
Best-case scenario: Dessert, Round 2.
Instead, she drops the bomb. And, no. I'm not talking about the Gazzy or Ig variety, and I wish I WERE.
SCHOOL. She enrolled us in school! Freaking SCHOOL!
Fang thought it was a joke at first, and so did I. We just happened to be bunking up in the same house as a woman with the greatest dead-pan face ever. Nope. She's dead serious.
{Does best Anne impression voice}
"It's excellent and nearby!"
"You can meet other kids your age!"
"Your education is lacking!"
Blah blah blah blah BLAH!
We start on Monday. Yeah. On a holiday, no less. Oh, and it gets better. She's picking up our uniforms tomorrow.
Can't wait for all that itchy plaid. UGH!

hmm... it depends, considering im a emo-freak, i dont have a big opinion of school, but i put up with it... try to think of when the next good part of school is... like lunch, or... a class you like, (for me its reading... but that would be getting into MY life, and this is YOUR blog... sooo, yea.)
(first time post-ee, i read the books and i will be checking the blog for more posts at school... but i cant post at school.)

i hate school 2 cuz i go 2 a private school and theres only 1 class per grade so im stuck w/ the same jerks year after year after year after year after year after year...and theres this 1 girl who is ssssooooo mean and manipulative and she is THE MOST POPULAR GIRL IN THE CLASS!!!!!! agrivating, no? well, thats school 4 ya.

Erm.. IS SHE INSANE????? what, does she think that no-one will notice if six winged kids turn up 4 school 1 day. Yes, I know all wings would be hidden, but still... this is school, it's not like you could keep it secret 4 very long.......
lol, school sucks, but at least it won't be too bad... pffts, who the heck am I kidding!? school's the worst possible invention on this earth (both kinds, i'm guessing you know what i'm talking about)! Goodluck!
P.S. Stay away from the teachers... make em' mad and you get flattened like road kill (I know this from personal experience).
School acually isn't that bad. You just can't focus on the clock. It makes the minutes seem like hours. Just relax. It's a lot easier to learn with an open mind (I learned that in Algebra :)). Tell the flock to hang in there for me and if you're ever flying over West Virginia, give me a buzz!

OMG! I go to a public school and for gym you have to change in front of everyone in your locker room.oh! and all the hot guys in gym class. like um... let's see,Sam for instance? Ring a bell?[or two which ever one works for you.
Just Lay low try not to attract attention and make sure Iggy and Gasman don't set of a stinkbomb or something

School isnt all that bad.....well who am I kdding, it sucks. But we all have to cope. Including genetisized avian humans....which means you. But dont worry I am not all that normal either.

Aw poor Maxi! Well to be honest I'd pick a 7 hour day of school over getting pulverized by Ari anyday. Anne doesn't seem so bad you're way too hard on her (even with the 'secret' shhh! I read the book already) Well in all your school experiance wasn't SO bad well compared to other fights. Besides you worry too much take a chill pill.

hey genious if you really dont want to go to school cut class and say you got lost. its not that hard. or just go into the class and sleep through it or tlak to people. thats what everyone else does. just borrow other peoples notes before a test.
School is horrible.
The only reason I would put up with that is because she's the one giving you homes and food...but that's so unfair. "Your education's lacking" ? What the heck! That's probably the least of your guys's worries! Does she even know what the word "school" means to you guys?!? Man...that sucks..I hope you'll be able to talk her out of it, but, if not, I wish you guys luck. Stick together, and be careful who you trust at school... schoolkids don't keep secrets very well...

i had SIX years in private school (i'm finally a public schooler now:])
SIX stinkin' YEARS of itchy, starchy polos, uncomfortable, stiff jumpers(those were the worst, no matter HOW cute and angelic angel looks in them) and skirts.

schools upside down. dont try to stay alone. or congrats EVERYONE

the best way to stay alone is to try to blend in with the wrong kids

max my brother said that you need to get a life but will please come to florida it's nothing but sunshine(that's why they call it the sunshine state) and down here in florida there's nothing new so seeing bird kids will be the day i die happy.
