They're allowing people who don't look like Max or the other characters to star in a highly anticipated film. They're allowing their unique story to be comprimised by the cinematic politcs of movie making... hollywoodization of a story with a singularly unique identity. I live in New Orleans Louisiana and am a huge fan of James Patterson, so I picked up Maximum Ride the Angel Experiment.
It was one of the most thrilling and exciting books I had read in a long time.
I recently read Schools Out and am anxiously waiting for the 3rd in the series.
I just can't wait till Fang and Max finally kiss, and I am so curious about Angel.
Each character is unique and adds value to the story. Its as though you can see part of you own character within each of them. Max and her strong will, Fang and his quiet strength, each leaders. Gassy, Iggy, Nudge, growing up and learning how to survive against the odds.
Then there is Angel, the baby???
Oh did I tell you I am 45. Even grown-ups can enjoy being a kid again through the adventures of Max and Friends.
