The commercial was pretty cool but I agree with whoever said it first; I really don't think she needs to roll her shoulders like that when the CG wings pop out. In my mind I don't see the real flock doing that. I would think that they would just extend out. Otherwise she doesn't look too far off what I imagine Max to look like, being that I've never seen her.
And Fang, is someone feeling a little left out. Come on, Max is the leader, and the the books are about her. I don't see the covers saying Fang Ride: The Angel Experiment, or Fang Ride: Schools Out Forever, or even Fang Ride: Saving The World And Other Extreme Sports, do you? Jealousy will get you nowhere except maybe a good swift kick upside the head by Max.
Also to the question about the wing color; its supposed to be night, and I don't know about where your from, but when its dark around Pittsburgh PA everything looks black. Now lets just hope the movie staysd with the book and not go off on some wild tangent like so many others do.

Otay, Otay. Who the heck picked the narrator? I honestly thought he could have done a better job. And as for the whole commercial thing, I hate commercials even though they play a large role in our economy. With out commercials some people would have never heard of a product and that business would shut down because no one knew of them. And if no one knew of them no one could buy there stuff.

Athena, I think Max's hair wasn't blond, but not so dark, because Iggy said it got lighter in the summer, which is what happens to my BFFL all the time and she has medium brownish hair. W/e. I thought Amy's audition was a little bit pushed, and didn't seem as, well, naturally as Nicole's was, but she looks a lot like what I'd picture Max to be. Oh yeah.... not all blue-eyed girls can do that, uh, INTERESTING eye flashy thingy.Oh well the commercial is awesome except the narrator seems like he's rushing to get everything in. Huh. Maybe he's being chased by pickpockets? Or maybe an Eraser? You never know about things connected to Max like that. Ok I'm done now.

I saw that commercial like, first thing this morning and I called my whole family over to see it. I thought it was so cool! I wasn't sure whether Amy would do a good job from her audition tape, but she looked great in the commercial!

That was an awesome comercial. Considering I have TiVo so I normally hate commercials. The glowing eye thing was cool. MAx would have been better for the part. Fang you are right you deserve a comercial too. But the that would meant they would have to have another audition. They would never be able to pick the right person either. That was a good commercial ^^ I liked the hawk sound. Now that was awesome. I can probably do some graphics on you guys if I get some pictures or something. I think you guys need to work a little bit more on the "wings not moving and shaking so it looks really fake" thing a little more. other than that, it was pretty good. Also, wings look a little too fake. I'd also suggest her doing that "whip out the wings" thing but then also like curl them back up a little and then unfurl them when she's jumping/falling off the building. That would look so much awesomer ^^

Dude, that was... like, the most freakin' awesome commercial I've ever seen! Man, that's probably the only commercial that I'd actually never get tired of seeing! I mean, come on, who would get tired of seeing something that awesome?

OMG that is the corniest commercial EVER! I hate it! Max's wings don't look like they're attached OR real! If that's how the soon-to-be movie looks I am NOT seeing it! I love you guys and all but those are TERRIBLE special effects. And I thought the first 2 Harry Potters were bad...
I must admit it was better than some commercials I've seen but seriously. The stupid wings r faker than I thought they were. Fang, if YOU get a commercial, I certainly hope it's a heck of a lot better.
Max's wings are SUPPOSED to be creamy colored with tan-ish splotches. They really screwed this thing up.

Super awesome commercial, amy did a great job being max, exactly like i imagined her to be right down to the shoulder rolling to pop the wing joints out for flight, rocks made me wanna buy a second copy of the book.

PS theyre (meaning nudge & iggy) complete opposits, nudge is a motor mouth, iggys a silent type. nudge isnt as tough as iggy (no fense to nudge) even though iggys blind i think hes got it harder than any of the flock (max included). and iggy likes bombs, and nudge likes computers.

Amy's audition tape is really funny to watch (on maximumride.com) It looks so cheesy. But she really is ok in the commercial. Can't wait until the next book comes out! :]

I'm sorry, but she's to skinny. Her back is so small, it won't be able to hide 13 foot long wings. Sure, she's good, and I'm almost happy for her (i'm never happy for anyone) but she's just to little. Besides that, she's perfect, but I guess a little movie magic can change it so the wings recline completely, and can't be see seen behind her 5 inch waist.
P.S. I'm not trying to be mean.
I didn't really like her in that commercail she didn't look natural the whole time it was like she was looking down it was just sort of weird.... She looked akword if you make a movie are you gonna use her for max cause i think there could be a better max.....

All you lucky people have been getting Max Ride 3 all early while us peoples have to wait til opening day to get it. I must re read the other 2 before we go but I am getting it tomorrow and nothing will stop me unless I get some life threatening disease in the next 24 hours and even then I will not die until I've read that and HP 7 and I still highly doubt that I will get one of those diseases but right now the only thing standing between me and MR 3 is 24 hours, some traffic, Starbucks and the line in the Barnes and Noble in Chandler.

Did you realize that this one, and the one that's on maximumride.com now are different. In the one thatis on the website now has Amy/Max speaking most of it, and this one has that narrators voice throughout the whole thing.
I definately like the one that's out now better. No offense to the guy who did this one, but I cannot stand his voice.
