New Years Eve!!!!!
Ohmigosh. You guys are so weird sometimes! And seriously, I want to talk about New Years. So here goes.
Like, I really like my wings. I think they’re a good feature. I mean it’s not like you’re reading Seventeen and there’s a headline saying “New ways to makeover your wings for fall!” Maybe someday…if there were ever enough bird kids out there to read articles about fashion savvy looks for people with WINGS.… Okay. I am BLABBING.
What I’m getting at here is that I TOTALLY wanted to go to a fancy party with chandeliers and sparkling drinks in fluted glasses and wear high heels and show off my wings. I mean I know I’m eleven. But I bet I could walk good in heels. I mean, I can fly, so I’m used to being tall. So anyway, I wanted to wear high heels and a dress like, uh, this one.
But last I checked we’re not exactly normal. So it wasn’t like we had, like Trixie from math class’s New Years Eve party to go to or anything. It’s the kind of thing that would make me sad, if we didn’t have Max to take care of us. But we DO have Max to take care of us, so off we went for the New Year soaring on up to New York City!
We perched on a ledge over Times Square and it was soooo pretty. (Gazzy wanted to perch behind the Cup O'Noodles except too bad it's not there anymore!) So instead we settled for some big skyscraper and up there, all we could hear was the wind. Everyone down below us was glittering and celebrating, but when the ball dropped, for us it was quiet.

Nudge, heels r hard to walk in unless you get a lot (italicize & repeat) of practice. i had to wear really high ones for one of my preformances, and it was really hard!
the new years party in NYC seemed to be pretty good, but part of me is so glad that i'm in the sunny south (even though right now it isn't so sunny).
we missed the 1st part of the ball dropping here. they went on commercial like, a minute or 2 before it started! that stank!

well yea people with wings seems so right you know. i mean seriously like you said earlier noraml peoples' backs look so bare without wings. im working on a new theory, even though im a christian and dont believe in all of that god doesnt exist type junk, i do believe god made us through his divine will over a course of time. the theory im working on is that people are more related to birds than apes. i mean seriously, birds can understand basic mathmatics and shapes, they can construct perfect nests that wont fall apart, the tropical birds can talk like us, their fingernails and beaks are the same as our fingernails and toenails. the wings are just basically arms with 2 fingers, skin, and feathers. dinosaurs evolved into birds according to scientists, so why couldnt we have evolved from birds? people have dreamed of flight since the beginning of their existence, maybe its a power that they want to gain back. so waddya think? its a little long ahahaha, but id appreciate you people taking some time to open you minds to the possibilities.

Cute dress....i would nevr wear it but i could see u in it! the wings would totally complete it! u prob had a better New Year's than me. I stood outside in the cold to watch skiers & snowboarders do tricks that were LAME! Then like all my family got drunk so it was really loud. The kids watched "I Love New York" & "Tila Tequila" for awhile then we saw the ball drop like 5 times! It was repeated over and over! i also saw Miley Cyrus live and she sucked...the JoBros and Carrie Underwood were good tho. So was Lifehouse. Anyway....i'm rambling but so do u! My New Years was quiet too. We (I) watched the ball drop on TV, since we live in the boringest place on earth, and my brother was in Tennessee, and my parents went to eat dinner with some friends so it was just me . . . my parents didn't get home till literally 20 seconds before the ball dropped . . . oh well, I like the quiet . . . I can be . . . antisocial sometimes. (Meaning half of my day aside from school is spent in my room)

Nice dress Nudge. Althougth i'm not a dress wearing kinda girl. I wish i had a quiet new years, wishful thinking when your brother invites the whole frikkin school round for a party, sorry, too much focusing on me. Anyway, this isn't exactly relevant, but theres this company called procter and gamble and they are involved in almost all cosmetics, shampoos and stuff like that and i just found out they test on animals(remind you of anything? lol) I'm so joining green peace when i'm older. Hey Nudge, you know a friend of mine and I actually have our own obsessions with wings (though I think we'd die of happiness if we ever woke up with them) and we've actually developed designs for clothes adapted for wings, so that the clothes are comfortable and show off the wings. so hey if you ever want to do something for halloween again, and make it a classy dress-with-wings kind of thing, let us know :-P
