I am the flocking leader here people. And when I remind my darling dearest birdfriends to WEAR SUNSCREEN and they do not listen to me, guess what happens. THEY GET SUNBURN.

Okay. Forgive me, I'm a little fried. Fried enough to make that joke, apparently....I'm withering here. Argh. Must stop. Is it hot up here or is it just me? Eek! Puns keep. Coming. Taking. Over. Mouth.
An aside, that would maybe be the worst evil enemy ever. Someone who spoke only in puns. Not only evil, but soooo obnoxious.

Well, I guess you know where we are now. Somewhere hot. Hot and sunny. Where we've been running from bad guys and flying too close to the sun, and getting sunburn. Ask me if I think Fang's getting an Icarus complex.
But I have to say, despite the fact that everyone will be peeling in say, about three days, it's pretty nice here. We like the palm trees.
Now if only we could rest, for example, under one in the shade. Where, incidentally, we could recover from our sunburn. Actually, pause. Correction, on the "we". Because I put suntan lotion on. And, because I put suntan lotion on Angel. The rest of them, well.
Now our next mission is going to be nicking aloe vera from Walgreens or something. Just another glamorous day saving the world and treating SUNBURN, kids.
Seriously...
If I didn't love them all to pieces, I'd let them get their own backs with aloe vera gel.

thats hilarious and i've been in that position. sunburn hurts like f-ing crap. and when you start peeling its gross. and when yer a pale person, you never tan, you just turn as red as a lobster.

Boy do I feel sorry for them (no offense) see I don't get sunburn that easily I just have to put a layer or 2 on every 3 hours if I'm out longer than that I get pink.

Oh gosh, I hate getting sunburned..... I like staying nice 'n pale. ;) Like an elf. A Middle-earthian elf. It's pretty dang annoying being unable to go outside and swim in our pool before 6:00 without putting on suntan lotion, but it stinks worse coming inside and seeing that I'm twenty shades darker.... ;)

I got sunburned a week ago, but it turned into a tan the day after.
I feel so sorry for you guys... The thing with me is, I've never experienced a sunburn, so I can't really relate. I inheirited semi-drak skin from mother-dearest so... It takes a lot for me to get sunburned. I also do as you and Angel did and generally wear sunscreen if I plan to spend a lot of time outside, which is rather rare for me. So... yeah.. Hope y'all feel better soon... ^^

Hey no kidding. Today i saw a black crow from the sky and face plant in the ground today. the feathers were all burned. It is really hot outside and hate sunscreen.

Yah, you don't have to tell me twice about the sun. I live in west Texas and right now it's about 100 degrees. Plus we don't even have any trees to sit under and when we run outta sunscreen we have to drive 30 miles to the nearest store to get. And that wastes tons of gas, so we just go burnt.

aw, Max, don't remind me...just this Memorial Day weekend I made the mistake of not putting on sunscreen when I went to play golf...BIIIIG mistake!! Luckily I had some Hawaiian Tropic I.C.E. stuff that cooled it and also kept the peeling away for a few days. I would suggest that stuff next time you guys make this mistake. ;D

Is Fang suffering from an Icarus complex? Sorry, Max said to ask and I must obey our all-knowing flock leader Max. : ) And I am so not sucking up!!! (OK, maybe just a little in the hopes you will post more often...)
Really, all of us need more sunscreen! Or else we will risk not only sun burn/sun poisoning (NOT fun, let me tell you)/skin cancer, but ALSO we risk looking like cherry tomatoes that say "ouch" when you step on their foot louder than they normally would followed by a few days as an over-used piece of sandpaper!
And you know what helps even MORE than aloe gel from the store? An actual aloe PLANT!!! They don't require much water and they can stand a wide variety of temperatures! They are also relatively small, light-weight, and can be flown with very easily if you put them in one of those velcro-strap baby carriers where the baby is supposed to hang on your stomach! (Really Max, you could make Fang carry it to remind him who was warned about sunscreen and who rubbed the aloe on all his sunburn! FUN!!!)

Sun burn is the worst, i don't need to be told. jeeze i can't go out on a cold day let alone a hot one if its sunny. liturally no joke. still unless you what to end up with blisters on your back then,sure but if not, you shouldn've listened and worn sunscrean. do it in future, surely you have enough problems without having to worry about stealing alovera whatever it is too.
I personally like sunburn. One of my favotite parts of summer. Besides the smell of air conditioner. Poor flock, you probably don't have air conditioning do you, guys?

My cheeks got sunburnt in May when I was doing work experience. I had to walk for 20 minutes 4 times every day for 4 days ! At least I didn't have to worry about being embarassed about anything 'cause I could blame it on the sunburn.
I'm glad I don't get sunburnt often, I just get a nice tan for some reason, even when I don't use suncream, which basically is most of the time.
I'd love to have a bit of sun here. It's been raining on and off for a week now.
Last Friday we got raindrops the size of 50 cents, then we got hailstones (pretty big ones for Ireland), more heavy rain and thunder and lightening in some places !
You should REALLY get some suncream. Maybe the factor 50 suncream as that would probably be best when you're flying near the sun.

Nice dude. BTW, if some peeps out there think its a great way to tan, it isn't, trust me. I peel if I'm out in the sun even an hour WITH HIGH SPF SUNSCREEN (waterproof and all). Blech, gotta love our sun.

Ha! Do I know a thing or two about sun burn! When I was 12, I think, I was in France, and I spent my first week in the pool. By the second week my back was so sun burnt it hurt to put my T-shirt on in the morning. Water dose not protect you from the sun. Surprisingly nether dose the cold. When I was in Italy, in the Alps, skiing, my nose was the only part of me not protected. So I come back from the week looking like Rudolph the flaming Reindeer.
You guys should REALLY listen to Max. Honestly, I thought you would have learned that by now.

yowch, that HURTS! Sunburn in very painful; I got a sunburn on my back and shoulders a few months ago at the beach. The peeling was GROSS!
ummmm u realize that u called me a dork??? b/c i didn't know a character from Hamlet??? um that's screwed up...anyways HA! i have to put on one layer every five hours and i'm good! :P and u know Nudge and Fang should b good, like Nuudge i don't think should have to wear a lot if of suntan lotion....only so her skin doesn't dry out....annd fang's got a darker skin complection so he's not fine but he should need about as much sun tan lotion as i use...k well u ttly gave ur location away w/ the palm trees, i mean it's really hot every where but the palm trees r NOT everywhere. like everyone's burning here(unless u have darker skin!)(i tan!!) but we have no plam trees....only evergreens. bu oh well

Ok, Max, no one ever listen when anyone says put sun lotion on. Believe me when I say that cause i live in australia. but seriously guys, you should put it on, we don't want you dying of sun cancer. Big note, don't use butter as sunscreen. A friend of mine did that and turned bright red and crispy, literally.

i understand, i am soooo fair skined, and i live in sunny florida! i gfot so baddly sunburned once, (well, actually, like 2 months ago...) i had sun poisoning, and had popping blisters, and 2nd, almost 3rd degree burns.... please, dont be as stupid as me, and dont 4get 2 put on sunblock! i got aloe vera gel on me the last time, and it was nice!!! good luck swiping the stuff!

Tinkerbell [my sis's bf] got sun burned and des [my sis did too]. me and andrew [tink's bro] didnt much cause we have that darker olive toned skin i guess. O.o but i did get sun burned once while camping and this crap called solarcaine help a lot. it never burned. and it is spray on. woo woo hope yall feel better

Why do you always wright "yo" at the beginning of every blog? Why not "hello", or "hi", or somethings else? Do you always say "yo", so you just put it automatically? Or do you take special care to put it in each time?

I have really bad sunburn too. Like ash_43 i play softball and we went to the pool a couple days ago I had a farmer's tan from my softball jersey and i only got burned above the line, where my skin was still white. Ugh!!

It sucks that even if it's cloudy you can still get sunburn. I HATE putting on sunscreen. It feels icky, it smells icky, but it's a lot better than having to deal with the flaking and such. Me, I live somewhere in Houston and we had almost NO spring to speak of. Exept for the week and a half it took for it to feel like summer. Hey, if you're somewhere around Galveston or South Padre Island, come visit!
You know funny you should mention putting sunsreen on my mom said the same thing only she just came right out and said it instead of putting it on a blog bt personally i probably would of listened if she had cause i didnt and i got burnt and i'm gonna shut up now cause u all probably think i sound like Nudge(No offence Nudge)

yah sunburns suck i just burned my legs yesterday cause i thought "i'm out in the sun so much my arms are brown, i don't need sunblock". well now my legs are literaly glowing red. oh and i think you flew over my house the other day cause i found a huge feather in my yard!!!!;)

tell me about the sun, like my teachers who are crazy-stranded our whole class on an island in the tropics for a field study- everyone came back to civilization brown,red, or black. Luckily i didn't burn but my tan peeled. the curse of the tropic i guess.
