Proof of Erasers!
Now you know why the scrapes we have with them are so damaging!
I'm sure he's going to have quite a story to tell his bosses!
Final Score: Flock 1, Erasers 0.

Max said we have to let him go, I was thinking something a little more drastic. Of course we wouldn't kill him, that's not our style. But we could to take a Souvenir, you know something to remember him by.
And maybe that would give him something to help him remember us too....

I was watching him pace back and forth, back and forth, then suddenly he tried to break through the door. I must have hurt him quite a bit, because he transformed into the wolf-like-thing you see here in seconds. Now you know why the scrapes we have with them are so damaging.
This is what an Eraser looks like, your basic killing machine.

This jerk actually thought he had a chance of taking us out - without his freaky sidekicks! We caught him and carried him off. We're not sure what we're going to do with him, so while Max is figuring that out I'm watching him. He's not giving me any information, not even his name, so I drew his picture. As you can see they look pretty normal when they aren't all tweaked out.

You know I hear that voice in my head, but what's worse is the messages that are happening all around me. Look at this taxi sign...we saw this message after the tunnel tangle. I mean what would you guys think if you saw this? It's not 'low profile' you know what I mean. And it's not telling me anything either! Hey voice! Your messages suck!
On the plus side, I don't get the headaches when I see 'em.

Guess what you get when you cross six mutant bird-kids with a bunch of Erasers in the middle of the Holland Tunnel?
A huge, furry, feathery mess. Like if a pet shop had exploded.
I’m guessing a lot of people are looking into alternate commuter routes.

Oh my god, you should have totally seen it, it was so cool. First it was like Max was facing these cop guys? And they were all, you better stop and come with us. And of course we totally don’t trust them, because they could turn into Erasers, or they could be working for the Whitecoats, or they could just be bad guys all by themselves. So Max snarls, come and get us. And they actually tried! It was awesome. I mean, our life is hard. I can’t pretend that it isn’t. It’s definitely hard, and sometimes, okay a lot of the time, I really, really wish it was different. But then there are times, like when someone first sees us fly. Sees us, who look pretty normal, when our wings are tucked in, look pretty much like regular kids, and then suddenly whoosh, our wings snap out, huge, and then we shoot off into the air. It so freaks people out. And that part’s fun.

Hey Mutant_girl!
Fang saw your avatar. He thinks it's hot and he's not stopped talking about you.

The thing about Max is, she’s so tough. She’s the toughest person I’ve ever seen. Gone through a lot, and just keeps it all in, you know? No chinks in the armor. But sometimes, when it’s just me and her, I catch a glimpse of like light, shining through the hard shell. I see what she could be like if we didn’t have to run, she didn’t have to protect everyone, if she hadn’t grown up in a cage, hadn’t been experimented on.
But I have to say, she’s pretty dazzling anyway. You'll see for yourselves when you read the book, I mean on top of everything else, she's telling our story in a book! 'nuf said.

Today's the day Max's book comes out. So I took a quick flight to see the city before everyone finds out about us. Things are going to get really interesting.

Nudge has a thing for animals, I guess I don't blame her. They don't think we're freaky. She's named this guy Buddy. Gassy wants to paint him blue, but I had to say no to that.

It’s finally starting to look like spring and the flying is great! It’s still a little chilly but there’s no better skyline to glide over then New York! Angel, Gassy, nudge and even Fang is in a good mood! We all want to fly, unfortunately all the regular people are looking up and enjoying the sun - not good for 6 winged kids trying to keep a low profile.

We've taken to spying on the Erasers.
Keep your friends close and your enemies closer?!
Anyway, they like to play basketball and so we left them these, just to mess with their heads.
One wing feather from each of us.

We are the only humans in the world with wings, but we sure do spend a lot of time underground.

I can't imagine what this guy said to his wife when he got home!

Use the crosswalk??
Yeah, right.
I don't think so.
When you can fly, signs like these
just make ya laugh.

Being able to fly is a blast.
It's also deadly.
Came so close to getting fried like a moth in a bug zapper.
Note to self:
"Gotta stay alert if we wanna stay alive."

We never got to see the World Trade Center. I'll bet it was beautiful.

Today we flew up to the Empire State building and I looked through this telescope view thing and I could see more then fifty times further without the silly thing. Humans must be blind!

Lemme tell ya, wet wings suck. The rain came from nowhere.
I’m drenched, cold, and stuck on a ledge. I’ve had better days.
On the plus side, no one’s looking up.
